Celtic Collaboration Roundtable Kicks Off Inaugural Wales Week Ireland
This week marked a significant milestone as Wales Week Ireland officially launched with its first-ever event—the Celtic Collaboration Roundtable, hosted at PwC, Dublin on Monday, 24th February.
The event brought together business leaders from Wales and Ireland to explore new avenues for cross-border collaboration and investment, fostering stronger ties between the two nations.
A Platform for Growth and Collaboration
Chaired by Andy O'Callaghan (PwC), the roundtable welcomed 10-12 key industry figures, including representatives from GS Verde Group, Mauve Group, Welsh Government, PwC, and others, to engage in open discussions on:
✅ How businesses in Wales and Ireland can support each other's growth
✅ The common sectors of opportunity across both nations
✅ The potential for Welsh businesses to expand into Ireland and vice versa
✅ Existing success stories of businesses operating across both countries
With a structured roundtable format, attendees had the chance to contribute insights, share experiences, and identify key areas where stronger economic and business ties could be forged.
